• Gem Building is Defunct - At GitHub, anyhow. They're throwing their weight behind Gemcutter.


• The Invoice Machine - New online time-tracking and invoicing service for freelancers.


• ruhl - Yet another new scheme for rendering HTML markup from Ruby in an elegant fashion.


• What I’ve Earned (And Learned) From Writing “Beginning Ruby” - Basically, "writing books sucks."

Basically, “writing books sucks.”

I just want to stress that's what you're saying but I'm not thinking that (or, hopefully, expressing it). It has some pretty sucky elements but overall I'm still very glad I did it :)

Thanks for linking to my cap-recipes gem! I have just been collecting all of my generic recipes into that gem for a while now. Looking forward to any additional ideas or recipes others might be able to contribute.
