A Fresh Cup is Mike Gunderloy's software development weblog, covering Ruby on Rails and whatever else I find interesting in the universe of software. I'm a full-time Rails developer and contributor, available for long- or short-term consulting, with solid experience in working as part of a distributed team. If you'd like to hire me, drop me a line. I'm also the author of Rails Rescue Handbook and Rails Freelancing Handbook.

Double Shot #388

Well, after joining the Rails Activists and the creation of ActionRails, I can finally complete my trifecta of Big Announcements for the year: I'm co-authoring Rails 3 In Action, to be published by Manning late this year. UPDATE: No, as it turns out, I'm not. For various reasons, I've dropped out of that book project.
  • Clearance: Rails authentication for developers who write tests - Yup, one more authentication library, this one from the ThoughtBot guys.

  • RSpec and Shoulda - Using the two together for maximum goodness.
  • Reader Comments (1)

Congrats on Rails 3 in Action, I'll get it once the MEAP opens up. If you need any help, I'd be happy to lend a hand (e.g. reviewing).
