A Fresh Cup is Mike Gunderloy's software development weblog, covering Ruby on Rails and whatever else I find interesting in the universe of software. I'm a full-time Rails developer and contributor, available for long- or short-term consulting, with solid experience in working as part of a distributed team. If you'd like to hire me, drop me a line. I'm also the author of Rails Rescue Handbook and Rails Freelancing Handbook.

Double Shot #395

I was nearly too busy to read yesterday. Crazy times indeed.

  • Spike - Rails log file viewer for OS X. (via RubyFlow)

  • Sliding Stats - Real time stats for rack-enabled web applications.
  • Reader Comments (1)

Spike could be really useful but I have done a small test. It needs 30 minutes to open a 4.8 Mb GZipped logfile (one day of log for a 10'000 visitor per day site) on a Macbook 2.4 Ghz Core 2 Duo.

    Useless ... for the moment...
