If this fact is ingrained into developers from the start, the quality of code will start climbing steadily.</p><p>Bad thing: Big companies will hire high-paid software test suite writers and lay off developers.  They'll send their completed test suite to an inexpensive outsourced development firm and say &quot;Send us the code when you can make all the tests pass.&quot;  Works out fine if you enjoy writing expansive test suites, but it's tough for those who enjoy the art of coding.</p><p>Now...
